Back in 2011 the wonderful Penny Moore, who runs a wonderful facility called The Actors Group in Burbank, CA, recruited me to “bring the music” by way of hosting a monthly singer/songwriter open mic night. It’s been a pleasure and an honor for me to welcome musicians of all levels and styles. Tomorrow (9/11/15) marks the 50th time we have held this event, which has nurtured new talents just getting their feet wet and provided a casual workout forum for veteran musicians.
The Actors Group is located at 2813 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank, CA. Street parking. No cover charge. Original or cover songs are fine. Sweets on sale for $1. Comfortable chairs.
